It stinks, but both Obama and McCain support the bailout agreement reached shortly after midnight this morning.
According to the New York Times, the agreement would:
Bail out Wall Street at a cost of $700 billion;
Limit pay for some executives whose firms seek help;
Require the government to use its new role as owner of distressed mortgage-backed securities to [...]
